This blog post is intended to help with the matter of what to wear, particularly for autumnal photoshoots.
Obviously, we will want to dress for the weather conditions, but during a photoshoot we shall be capturing images that you’ll be enjoying for many years to come. With this in mind some careful consideration of what to wear will pay huge dividends.

To help us capture timeless images, think neutral colors, avoiding heavy patterns, stripes, and clothes with logos. Colors that really complement the gorgeous backgrounds in the autumn, are darker shades of purple, yellows, oranges, golds, creams, tan clothing and blue denims always tend to look great in autumn.
Accessorize with your favorite scarves, jumpers, and hats that can all bring flashes of color and texture.

If possible think of bringing a number of likely clothing options. We are then in a great position to adapt clothing to best suit each location. If your children have any favorite toys or props that they may wish to be included in the shoot, then do please bring these along.

Having said all this, we will be capturing lovely natural images of you and your loved ones, so do wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

I look forward to helping you really enjoy your photoshoot, and to capturing those precious images for you to enjoy.
